welcome to australia, kids. well, more specifically, gold coast, qld. this is the home of the slater academy, one of the most prestegious surf schools in the world. the students who attend slater academy also attend the local high school. the only difference in their day to day routine is that they devote a lot of their time after their classes to going to the academy and work on their surfing skills. chances are a lot higher to become a professional surfer if you can rise above the rest of your peers to become the best. don't let fame and popularity get to your head though you might do something stupid and all your hard work will be thrown down the drain. good luck, hopefuls, you're going to need it.
