She had to get out, just for a while. She had to, it was impossible to stay in that house for more than few hours. So she decided to go out, she wanted to go out anyway, even though leaving the rest of her family there wasn't such a great idea. But hopefully, they would be alright, she didn't know what went on when she was out. She tried not to think about it, she tried to be a happy, excited girl like she always wanted to be. It was just hard sometimes with that happenings at home.
She had decided to go to the park today. She needed fresh air, and who knows, she might just find a friend there, though not likely. Even though she'd been here for most of her life, she didn't have too mnay friends. Though the ones she did have were great friends. They were always there for her and, well they couldn't be replaced. She sighed at the thought of being friendless, sh could cope without them. She always could. it was just that at the moment she would love to have some friend that she could talk to, but she'd live, she'd done it before.
She decided to take the dog with her, she was going to the park and Ruby loved the park. Ruby is a dalmation, black spots. Niki loved her, she was another thing that was always there for her. In someway, Ruby was Niki's dog, she was the only one that bothered to look after her. If she wasn'tt here, the dog would probably be either dead or so close to it that she wasn't a dog anymore. Thank god for NIki. Ruby loved getting out, maybe just as much as Niki did. Ruby barked a lot, but only when people were yelling. And she hated men, well most of them. Niki's father had treated Ruby badly when she was just a pup, and she now hates him and anyone that reminds her of him. Who said dogs forget these things?
Niki made her way to a lone bench, sitting on it, she unclipped the leash from Ruby's collar. Right away, the dalmation bolted, but she came back. Rather quickly actually, she just wanted to run, like most dogs. She was energetic. Then she was off again, running around the park. Niki chuckled softly to herself when her dog almost bowled over some old lady. Oops, then Ruby went straight to Niki, with the lady's gaxe following her. 'Sorry.' Niki called out to her, while rubbing Ruby's ears. She sat back on the bench, she had gotten up when Ruby came to her after the old lady. She sighed as she watched Ruby play with another dog.

Ashlinne smiled, when her two-year-old daughter grabbed her finger, as she walked next to her. Kylie was just learning to walk, and she still had trouble with tripping. Ashlinne learned to walk when she was nine months old, but Kylie was learning at her own pace, and she was good with that. Ashlinne doesn’t want anyone pushing Kylie to do anything if she doesn’t want to do it. If anyone did, they’d feel Ashlinne’s wrath and it wouldn’t be pretty. Ashlinne’s a protective mother, especially because Kylie’s her first child. She loves the toddler to death; she’d do anything for her.
As Ashlinne walked slowly, so Kylie could keep up, she repositioned the diaper bag’s strap on her shoulder so it wouldn’t slide off. Everything that was necessary to have was in the diaper bag. It was basically Ashlinne’s purse. She had her own personal items in there, as well as Kylie’s diapers, wipes, bottles, binkies, diaper rash ointment, hand sanitizer, and a few other necessities. The only thing that wasn’t in the diaper bag was Kylie’s blanket, which she called her Cuddle, because it was hanging over the toddler’s shoulder. She was so attached to that blanket; Ashlinne takes it away from her as a punishment when Kylie’s acting up.
Ashlinne looked away from Kylie, to look in front of her, only to see a dog running straight for them. She was glad beyond belief when the dog jumped on her and not on Kylie. She didn’t mind dogs; she loves them. She has a dog of her own at home. She was just taken by surprise when this dog jumped on her. Ashlinne laughed a little as the dog ran away, and she looked at Kylie, who was just inching as close to her as possible as a girl walked over, apologizing. “No, it’s fine. No one was hurt,” she said.
Ashlinne really didn’t mind. Dogs had a mind of their own, it’s not anyone fault. Ashlinne loves dogs. Her dog at home wasn’t nearly as big as this dog. Her dog is a Teacup Maltipoo, and she’s actually rather small, being a teacup dog. Ashlinne picked Kylie up, as she felt the toddler’s tiny hand patting her leg, and she kissed her cheek lightly. Kylie rested her head down on Ashlinne’s shoulder and sucked on her thumb lightly.

Niki couldn't get the thought of her family out of her mindm though it was always like that. She just couldn't stop worrying about them, leaving them all alone with that demon. She'd done it so many times before. She tried to push the thoughts away when she was spoken to, it was the lady that Ruby had almost bowled over. And now Niki saw that she had a child with her. Shit, it would have been horrible if her dog had jumped on the girl, what would she have done then, probably panicked and freaked out, not knowing what to do.
She smiled softly as the lady said that it was okay, well that was great. She didn't want to have to explain that Ruby was hyper when she was let out of that dumb backyard. 'Oh, that's good. Good thing she didn't take her out.' Niki indicated to the lady's child. As Niki looked at this woman, she thought that she had seen her before, and then it clicked. She was a teacher at her school, the drama teacher, of cause. Why didn't she see it before. Niki had done drama for like a week and decided that she didn't like it and swapped to another subject, one that was so much more like what she wanted.
'Hey, you're the drama teacher at North High, right?' She had to be sure, it wasn't everyday that your dog jumps on your old teacher. But it wasn't like it mattered, Niki didn't care, and her old teacher probably didn't either. She looked down to the little girl, she couldn't be more than two, maybe three. She was cute, and that was something, coming from a girl who hated little kids. Ruby came running to her and while she was attemoting to jump on Niki, she grabbed her dog's collar and clipped the lead on, just so she wouldn't cause any more trouble.
